Creative Lighting Workshop for Photographers & Videographers

This workshop is all about continuous light — color, mood, creativity, and control.

We’ll start with the fundamentals, so you don’t need to be experienced with studio lighting to join. I’ll show you how continuous lights actually work: how to set them up, adjust power and color temperature, change settings, work with different modifiers and attachments, position your lights, and properly handle and store your equipment.

Then we’ll move from technical knowledge to creativity.

We’ll talk about how the position, direction, intensity, color and quality of light completely change the mood of an image — and how to choose the right lighting depending on the story you want to create.

You’ll learn how to analyze a reference and recreate the feeling behind it, instead of simply copying where someone placed a light. We’ll break down references, understand what the light is doing, and then build our own setups from that knowledge.

And of course, we’ll shoot. A lot.

You’ll see how I build different lighting setups from scratch and transform the same space using color, shadows, highlights, direction and different modifiers — from clean and beautiful light to something much more dramatic, cinematic and editorial.

This workshop is designed for both photographers and videographers.

Continuous light gives you something incredibly valuable: you can see the final light before you even press the shutter or hit record. You can move it, change the intensity, adjust the color and immediately see how the entire mood changes.

That makes it an amazing tool not only for learning lighting, but for creating editorial portraits, beauty, fashion, commercial content, reels and cinematic video.

The goal of this workshop isn’t to memorize lighting diagrams.

The goal is to understand light well enough that you can create your own.
